Go for the Gold Blog


I was just thinking of how it has always helped
me in some way to GO FOR THE GOLD!!
What I mean is related to the sales world
and I go by the advice of Zig Ziglar who says
everyone is a salesperson. When presenting
or explaining about your product or service
and after communicating properly and in a mostly
comfortable manner  why not GO FOR THE GOLD!!
Meaning why not ask for the order ? Many salespeople
want to wait wait wait. Like geez when is this prospect
of mine EVVVVER going to just raise there hand and say
can I buy now please? This doesnt happen normally
if ever at all. I will share a closing technique that has literally
helped me close over $2,000,000 in business on 2 commercial
buildings that decided to get a solar system for there buildings.
This is after the presentation of coarse.

"So not right this second
or anything but assuming we are able to deliver these
 numbers and we help save you this $ ______ amount on a monthly basis
 will you be willing to go forward with this?"

By going for the gold and providing a soft close
I was able to get a nod yes yes and a verbal yes
from my prospect. Also on both occasions they
both asked me for the second meeting!! Which
is super awesome!! Now if I were being more shy
and sensitive and my Go For The Gold thought was
more just to arrange a second meeting I am
100% convinced it would have been an uphill battle
to 1. get the meeting to begin with and 2. Have the guts to
close on the second meeting.So Go for the  Gold right
away if possible and surprises can and do happen!
